Mission

Bitten by a Kitten is a private rescue located in the San Francisco Bay Area focused on saving the lives of orphan kittens from local shelters and private parties.

How we accomplish this

1. We nuture

   After rescuing the orphaned kittens, many of whom were due to be euthanized, we bottle-feed them while providing a loving, temporary home in our rescue center. Our kittens are all raised underfoot to be happy, healthy, friendly, and affectionate family pets.

2. We host adoption fairs

   We partner with local organizations to host adoption fairs to ensure the community has the opportunity to see our wonderful kittens awaiting their forever home.

3. We spay/neuter kittens

   Before we send them to their new homes, kittens are spayed/neutered to be certain that they will never contribute to the tragedy of the overpopulation of companion animals in this country.
